When I took my brother and sister-in-law, who just got married the year before, to France, I never thought they would fall in love all over again.  I was wrong, after all, Paris is the city of love, and the Mont-Saint-Michel is also quite romantic.

Trust me, it’s actually pretty easy to pack your bag and take a 5 day trip to Paris. Then, when you arrive in Paris, of course, you need to rest because you are going to be tired with the jet lag.  But after that, Paris is all yours to impress your partner.

Last time my husband and I went to France, we took the cruise on the Seine river.  It was not Valentine’s day, but it was extremely romantic.  On Valentine’s day, they have packages to wow your partner : dinner for two with a rose for the ladies, a glass of champagne, and music while discovering the most beautiful monuments such as the Eiffel Tower sparkling its thousand lights, the cathedral of Notre Dame, and the most romantic Pont-Neuf bridge.  What better time to ask him or her to marry you?  Right?!! Think about it.  It will definitely be an unforgettable proposal!  I have goosebumps just thinking about it.

The next day, you could do dinner with champagne at the restaurant “58 Tour Eiffel” located on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower.  The name of the restaurant comes from its height from the ground, which is exactly 58 meters (63 yards).  My husband and I went to the restaurant several years ago, and I can attest that the atmosphere was romantic, and the cuisine was exquisite.

On your last day in France, take your partner to the Mont Saint Michel.  You both will be amazed with the breath-taking view.  You will fall under the spell of the beauty of the landscape.  The Abbey is built upon the bay’s lonesome rock and becomes completely isolated at high-tide when the tiny island seems to emerge out of the water.

When you come home, you will have romantic memories to last for a lifetime.
