A Disney Cruise is perfect for amazing memories and the Disney Cruise cabins are part of that awesome experience!
The cabins are spacious and comfortable for the whole family. As soon as you find your cabin, you will feel welcomed and at home with every details being cared for. The cabins are spacious (for a cabin on a cruise ship) and they are very well laid out with lots of storage and very comfortable accommodations. You’ll have room to tuck your suitcases away, hang up and put away all of your clothes in drawers. A family of 5 can comfortably fit in a regular cabin with a queen size bed for the parents, bunk beds and one extra bed for the children. The beds are all plush and very comfortable. A thick curtain is easy to pull at night to give the children and parents privacy at night. The children’s beds are pulled out and prepared by the crew during dinner time. During the day that area of the room is just open space, a desk area and a couch. There is one TV in the room and it plays continuous Disney movies and cartoons on one of channels. You can also watch really interesting information about the ship. Our girls loved falling asleep watching old Disney cartoons every night after ending the day with a big Mickey ice cream they had ordered through room service.
Room service is free and is available 24 hours a day! Yes, it’s true and it’s so fun! Of course there is plenty of food on deck with unlimited soda, coffee and ice cream cones but having that option too is just fantastic for a quick lunch before getting off the ship for an excursion or a midnight snack. One trick if you like to have your coffee right away when you wake up is to order a carafe of coffee before you go to bed through room service. The coffee will stay steaming hot all night in the carafe and you will wake up to a nice cup of Joe in your room before you even have to step out of your room. Of course, you can order it in the morning but you’ll have to wait for it and kids will wake up when it gets delivered!
The bathrooms are small but spacious and super practical at the same time. Another great thing about the cabins is the way Disney designed the bathrooms. Every cabin has 2 small bathrooms. One of them has a sink and toilet in it and the other one has one sink and a tub/shower combo. The tub is round and you won’t believe how spacious it is for being in such a small bathroom. Having 2 sinks and 2 separate bath areas makes getting ready as a family much easier. The bathroom comes equipped with a string for hanging clothes, which comes in handy. Again, the bathrooms are small but functional.
You can decorate your cabin door to add even more fun to your vacation. A fun traditional on Disney cruises is to decorate your door so that as you walk back and forth to your cabin it is easy to find for you and your kids and is personalized. You can order decorations with your family’s names or come up with fun decorations yourself that you mount on magnets or suction cups. Both work well! The hallways are long and all look the same so having a decorated door will not only be festive and welcoming but it will make it easier on your whole family to find your cabin.
Or you could even go all out…
The Disney Cruise cabin accommodations are the way to travel…spacious, comfortable, clean and infused with that special touch of Disney Magic!
